Registration

PAYMENTS:
• Registration Fee (R350.00) is due with the 1st payment.
• Monthly payments (R550.00) are due in advance, on or before the 1st of each month (February to November).
• Quarterly payments (R1 375.00) are due in advance, on or before the 1st of the first month of each quarter:
1st Quarter - Payable on 1 February
2nd Quarter - Payable on 1 April
3rd Quarter - Payable on 1 July
4th Quarter - Payable on 1 October
• The Yearly option (R5 500.00) is due on or before the 1st of March month.
• All cancellations must be given in writing, a month in advance.

COMMUNICATION:
• It is important to us to communicate with parents via email, WhatsApp or cell phone.
• Please notify us immediately of any change of email address, contact details and cancellation, so that we can keep our data base up to date.

JERSEY/SHORTS & RUGBY BALL:
• Players Match (Jersey & Shorts) - R850.00
• Free Rugby Ball at end of year

WEEKLY SESSIONS:
• The Rugby Fit Academy Helderberg sessions take place at Parel Vallei High School (95 Parel Vallei Road, Somerset West, 7130) twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) for one hour (17:30-18:30), from February to November, during school terms. Parents will be informed in advance if a session needs to be cancelled due to rain or bad weather. Any cancelled sessions will be made up in the following weeks.

FRIENDLY MATCHES:
• Matches will be arranged against other rugby clubs and schools as soon as we have enough players to form teams for the different age groups.

INDEMNITY:
Rugby Fit Academy Helderberg or any of our personnel, consultants or coaches may not be liable for losses, claims or injuries children may be subjected to or anything related to these, in spite of the origin

Rugby Fit Academy Helderberg - Code of Conduct

We at Rugby Fit Academy Helderberg have decided that we will send a guideline to our parents and players aimed at creating a harmonious and disciplined environment in which players, coaches, parents, and supporters enable learners to reach their full potential. In addition, it creates a yardstick by which the conduct of learners, parents, coaches, and management can be measured.

Players Code of Conduct:
• Never argue with the referee.
• Play well for yourself and your team. Understand the importance of team loyalty.
• Be a good sport; recognise all good play whether by your own team or your opponent’s win or lose.
• Treat all players as you would like to be treated; do not interfere with, bully or take unfair advantage of any player.
• Be attentive at all training and coaching sessions.
• Play by the Laws of the game and accept without question, the referee’s decision.
• Wear your Rugby Fit Academy Helderberg kit with pride and remember that you are a representative of the Academy when you are wearing it.
• We do not accept bad behaviour or sportsmanship or any breach of the above codes. If this starts to become a problem, the player will receive a warning. Further warnings will lead to the unfortunate cancelation of the players membership.
Parents / Carers:
• Encourage your child to learn the rules and play within them.
• Discourage unfair play and arguing with officials.
• Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.
• Never force your child to take part in sport.
• Set a good example by recognising fair play and applauding the good performances of all.
• Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.
• Publicly accept officials’ judgements.
• Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their sport.
• Use correct and proper language at all times.
• It is forbidden for our parent to engage in physical altercations or verbal disputes with opposing players, coaches, or parents.
• Parents are not allowed to talk to coaches about team selection what so ever. Feel free to make contact by writing if you have a selection or coaching queries.
Breaches of the above could result in your membership being withdrawn.
